01 / Context

Kuve connects shoppers with products, service providers, and independent stores. I owned frontend technical direction across a cross-functional team of 11 while staying hands-on with the hardest product work.

02 / The challenge

The constraints shaped the system.

01

Inherit a live product carrying a substantial issue backlog across shopper and admin experiences.

02

Align frontend, backend, AI, DevOps, and QA while remaining hands-on in delivery.

03

Ship standalone storefronts, logistics, and identity verification on weeks-not-months timelines.

03 / Decisions

How I approached it.

01

Stabilise before adding weight

I triaged and cleared the entire open production backlog in two weeks, restoring a dependable foundation before the team added major capabilities.

02

Lead cross-functionally, stay hands-on

I set architecture and review standards for three frontend engineers, coordinated delivery across four other disciplines, and personally owned the most difficult features.

03

Rebuild storefronts in three weeks

Registered shoppers could launch branded mini-stores, manage products, and move through a coherent shopper-to-seller flow on the rebuilt platform.

04

Integrate compliance and logistics

I delivered shopper KYC and Fez Delivery in two weeks each, using typed service layers and strict validation at the product boundaries.

05 / Outcome

Restored production stability within the first two weeks, then led delivery of standalone storefronts, shopper KYC, and logistics integration. Shared frontend architecture and review standards improved consistency across the team.

What this project shows

Technical leadership paired with hands-on delivery: steadying a live platform under pressure, coordinating an 11-person team, and shipping compliance-sensitive growth work fast.
